Dr Lisa Morgan
I am a registered and endorsed Clinical Psychologist with over 15 years experience in community and mental health. I began my studies and work in Canada and finished my clinical training at the University of Melbourne in 2005 and PhD in 2008.
My main areas of interest based on specialised training, supervision, and experience include:
Women's mental health - anxiety, depression, goal setting, stress, self-acceptance
Perinatal/parental - pregnancy, post-birth, and adoption - anxiety, depression, bonding and attachment, multiple births, grieving and loss
Couples Sessions - including improving communication, equality, and bond between partners
Adult Female ADHD and Autism Assessments and neurodiverse-affirming therapy and Carer issues (e.g., disability/ long term medical condition of a child or partner)
I work with couples and women over the age of 18, and my therapeutic style encourages the exploration of personal values, as well as emphasises self-acceptance and the development of values-driven goals. Only evidence-based psychological treatment methods are used in my approach to therapy.
